- Films nowadays cost more to make yet there's less money set aside for low budget films as high end Hollywood blockbusters take 90% of the money the 10% goes to the independent productions
- The amount of money in the mid-to-low budget films is decreasing and is at the lowest numbers since 2006 according to BFI (British Film Institute)
- High end tv is at the same level as smaller films ands has an increase in the amount of money put into production
- Normal television channels are almost doubling the amount of money spent leaving little to no difference between films and high end tv
- The investments in tv production companies such as Netflix and amazon have almost doubled investment prices to a record of £500mil in 2013 when the film production investments have dropped to £198mil in 2015
- Netflix has made more original films than sky

Independent films will eventually die out and only high end films will be shown along with tv shows .
